SKINNY DIPPERS

We went bean picking at Kent.  Preacher Twist of the Baptist Church, on 8th Avenue, took his daughter and son every morning. He also took us.  My sister Stella, Bill Lindsay, Tom Sirjenski, Ronnie and David Lutts, and I went that day.

We got tired of picking beans. So we went to the River to go swimming.   The river is right next to the bean field.

Tom took off his clothes down to his underpants.  The rest of us went in with our jeans on.  I didn't go in at first because I couldn't swim.  Bill, Tom and Dave went in although Bill couldn't swim either.

I told them "We will go down the river bank and meet you around the bend."

When they got around there I was convinced the river wasn't to deep so the rest of us went in.

We stayed in about an hour just playing around.  Then we built a fire and dried off our clothes.

Me, Tom and Ronnie went to the store to get a bottle of pop.  When we got back Bill and Dave went down at the river.  There were two girls down there too.

They had been swimming in their panties and bra.  Bill had given them their shirts back but wouldn't give them back their jeans.

They were pretty good looking girls with good figures.  One looked about 15 and the other about 17.  They were begging Bill for their jeans back but he kept saying. "No."  I told Bill "Bill, give them their jeans."

Bill looked at me kinda funny and said "O.K." and gave them to them.

We talked to them awhile after they had put on their jeans.  We asked them "Where are you going."  when they started to leave.  One of them said. "We're going home.''

I asked the best looking one if I could walk a little way with her?   Neither one of them said anything, so keep walking, and talking to them,  and arguing which one got the best looking one.  I finally ended up with her.

We ask them again if we could walk with them?

One of them finally said "We didn't say no! Did we?"

I got beside the youngest and prettiest one and started talking to her.

Bill walked a little ways and went back.

I found out her name was Pat Jones, and found out her phone number.   I walked a long ways with her.

I was with her all the next day.

She was a real nice girl.

I saw her once more and I will never forget the last long glance into her eyes, when they met.
